About Us

The founder of Probate Victims United is a long-standing probate court victim. He is a mental health professional, educator,  writer, media producer, and legal professional. After many years in the Los Angeles Superior Courts Probate department litigation, his family was torn apart, and his mother was sent off to an abusive guardianship in Georgia, where she died. He began meeting other victims and saw how devastating this corruption is for families and individuals. He saw that something needed to be done to stop this corruption. He saw the need to build an organization and resources.

Other victims of the probate courts have seen the same need and contributed to the formation of the organization and design of the website.

Key Issues in Probate Court Reform
• Lack of Transparency: The probate court system often operates behind closed doors, making it difficult for families to understand the processes and decisions affecting their loved ones. This lack of transparency can lead to exploitation and abuse.
• Victim Advocacy: Many victims of conservatorships and guardianships feel isolated and powerless. Our organization aims to provide a supportive community and resources to empower these individuals in their fight for justice.
• Call for Legislative Change: There is an urgent need for new laws that protect consumers from the abuses within the probate court system. We advocate for reforms that prioritize the rights and well-being of vulnerable individuals.

The Importance of Advocacy and Support
Advocacy plays a vital role in addressing the injustices faced by probate victims. By raising awareness and providing resources, we can empower individuals to stand up against the system and seek the justice they deserve. Support from the community is essential in this fight, as it helps to amplify the voices of those who have been silenced.
Through collaboration and shared experiences, we can create a powerful movement for change. Our commitment to advocating for victims of probate courts is unwavering, and we will continue to push for reforms that protect the rights of all individuals affected by these issues.
